Alonzo Wakeland, 79 died at his home northwest of Kingman Monday May 10. Born in Fountain Co on March 27, 1878 he was a son of John and Sarah Ann Creson Wakeland. He married Ora Sylvania Foster in 1900 and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Jesse of Kingman; a brother Oscar of Florida; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Woodrow Funeral Home with Rev. Milo Hinckle officiating. Burial was in Kingman Cemetery. --– kbz
