  Wyatt L. Whitlock of Georgetown, Illinois, age 95, died Tuesday afternoon, May 25, in Danville Care Nursing Home. He was born east of Georgetown, January 9, 1887, the son of Elisha A. and Rebecca J. Brown Whitlock. August 19, 1908, he married Lena King, who died in 1956. Mr. Whitlock was a retired farmer.

  Survivors include five daughters, Irene Gallatin of Danville, Illinois, Thelma Mallman of Columbia, South Carolina,, Lois McDowell of Georgetown, Opal Gray of Wakima, Washington, and Fern Fortner of Fort Collins, Colorado; three sons, Gorman of Covington, Max of Westville, Illinois, and Keith of Fallon, Nevada; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Houghton Funeral Home in Georgetown with Wayne Pleasant officiating. Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery. – thanks to S
