WHITHAM, Minnie Adelaid

Mrs. Minnie Adelaid Whitham, age 77, 823 Washington St., Covington, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, July 17, at the Care Nursing Home in Danville, Ill. She had been a patient there for the past two months.

Mrs. Whitham, who had been a resident of Covington for the past eight years, was born May 16, 1889, in Streator, Ill., the daughter of Edgar and Adelaid Dixon Silvers. She was married July 12, 1908, to Glenn H. Whitham, who survives.

They also had resided at Witham, Mo., Cleveland, Ohio, Rankin, Ill., and Waveland. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Knight of Triplett, Mo., Mrs. Edna Wires of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Estell Pouge of Findley, Ill., and Mrs. Fern Guimbarda of San Pedro, Calif. She was preceded in death by

one brother and one sister.
