WHITE, Reuben - WWII

Reuben A. White of Williamsport, age 66, died Wednesday morning, September 14, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born at Tompkinsville, Kentucky, January 22, 1917, the son of Charlie P. and Nettie Wilson White. November 23, 1942, he married Jean Johnson, who survives. He was a member of Williamsport Christian Church and the Electrical and Machine Workers Union.

A graduate of Hillsboro High School, he had lived in Fountain County and been in the grocery business in Hillsboro, Attica and Hedrick. He was a veteran of World War II.

  Also surviving are two sons, Dale L. of rural Williamsport and Russell of Williamsport; a sister, Mabel Lash of Brook; and three grandchildren.

  The body was taken from Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport to the Williamsport Christian Church for funeral services Saturday afternoon with Rev. Don Williams officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery at Williamsport.- thanks to S
