CATLIN – Mrs. Nina Gladys White, 71, of 504 S. Sandusky, died at 10:55 p.m. Monday (Aug. 14, 1978) at Lakeview Medical Center in Danville. She had been a patient since Aug. 6 and ill for some time. She was a member of the Church of Christ and Senior Citizens, both of Catlin, and Vermilion County Farm Bureau. Born Dec. 8, 1906, in Chrisman, she was the daughter of James F. and Cynthia Ann Kegley Yontz. On Jan. 1, 1929, she was married to Roy White, who died Jan. 18, 1963. Survivors include two sons, Roy L. of Catlin and Maurice of Fithian; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Joanne) Jumps of Covington, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Miller of Broadlands and Mrs. Lottie Henderson of Newman; 12 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carrington Funeral Home in Fairmount, with the Rev. Ron Stein officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery at Catlin. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.   -– jlr
