WHITE, Clyde Thomas

Clyde Thomas White of Hillsboro, age 69, died Thursday morning, December 2, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Kentucky, April 22, 1913, the son of Charles and Nettie Wilson White. White had been employed as a road grader operator for 25 years by Fountain County.

  Survivors include a daughter, Betty Barker of Veedersburg; two sons, Charles of St. Petersburg, Florida, and George of Hillsboro; three stepsons, Robert Furr and Donn Furr, both of Veedersburg, and Wayne Furr of Lafayette; a sister, Mabel Lash of Brook; a brother, Reuben of Williamsport; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

  The body was cremated and memorial services were held Saturday afternoon at Veedersburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with John R. Walder officiating.
