WHITCOMB, Caroline Linn - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

After a week’s illness due to sudden heart trouble, Mrs. Caroline Whitcomb, 15 W Gilman St, died about 8 o’clock this morning at St. Mary’s Hospital where she was taken at 11 p.m. yesterday.  Mrs. Whitcomb had been a Madison resident for more than 15 years and until the last illness had always enjoyed the best of health.  She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Whitcomb who returned from the west where he is connected with a large land corporation on learning of her illness and an 18-year-old daughter, Marian who is a freshman at the university. – kbz
