Mrs. Elaine Oilar Whitamore, 37 was found dead by her husband at their home in Vermilion Grove, Ill about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. She had been in failing health for some time. She was born in Sterling Jan 22, 1916 and spent her entire youth in this vicinity and had many friends. Surviving is the husband, two daughters, Janina Ann, a student at Indiana State Teacher’s College and Wanda Faye at home; the father, Mr. Thurman Oilar of Attica; the mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Hesler of Hillsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Thryanza Hesler of near Hillsboro and Mrs. Greta Shular of Lafayette and a brother, Clifford of Denver, Colo. Funeral services were Thursday afternoon at Vermilion Grove Friends Church with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Indianaola. – kbz
