WHITAKER, GAIL McCalister - 1978 - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Gail Whitaker, 54, of Mellott, died Thursday April 20, 1978 at her home. Born Aug. 8, 1923, near Mellott she was the daughter of Ralph and Flossie Clark McCalister. On May 7, 1946, she was married to Willis Whitaker in Attica, who survives. Other survivors include her mother, four nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister. She was a graduate of Richland Township High in 1942 and was a member of the Crawfordsville Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1432. Services at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with the Rev. Robert Boyd officiating. Burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. – jlr
