WHISTLER, Walter L.

Walter L. Whistler, 70, of Boswell, and a brother of Frank Whistler of Veedersburg, died at 3:45 p.m. April 5 in Williamsport
Community Hospital where he had been a patient since Wednesday.
He was born Sept. 3, 1893 in Warren County and on Nov. 24,
1912 married Gladys Davis, who survives.
Other survivors include. six sons, Lloyd of Ambia, John of Boswell, both in Ill., Dale of Pueblo, C'olo., Edgar of Williamsport, Charles of Indianapolis and James' of Talbott; four daughters, Mrs. Louise Lee of Boswell, Mrs. Betty Smiley of Monticello, Mary Foster of Ambia and Mrs. Phyllis Larson of Oxford; the one brother, Frank of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Harvey of Otterbein and Mrs. Inez Dawson of Lafayette; 32 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Yuill Funeral Home in Boswell with the Rev. Fred Dean officiating. Burial was in Pond Grove Cemetery, south of Otterbein.
