WETHINGTON, Beatrice Crowder - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

NEW RICHMOND – Beatrice Wethington, 81, of New Richmond died Tuesday evening at Logansport State Hospital. She was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church and had lived near Ladoga for many years. Mrs. Wethington was born July 12, 1892, in Virginia, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Crowder. She married Eli Wethington who died in 1952. Survivors include three sons, James Albert of Thorntown, Glenn Edward of Wingate and Grover of New Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Edna Mae Ratcliff of Kingman; a brother, Elmer of Kokomo; a sister, Mrs. Ida Hart of Brownsburg; 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.   – jlr
