WEST, Gayle Wilson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg, IN – Gayle A. (Wilson) West, age 70 of Veedersburg, IN and longtime resident of Warren County, IN passed away at 10:20 a.m. on Friday Dec 21, 2018 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Gayle was born in Williamsport on Jan 7, 1948. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Sylvia (LaFountain) Wilson. She was a 1966 graduate of Seeger HS. She married Richard Briles in 1965 in Lafayette IN, Robert Holen in 1980 in Las Vegas and later Larry West in Oakwood, IL. Gayle was a long time resident of Warren County residing in Veedersburg, IN since 1996. Gayle worked at Master Guard as a team leader. She also worked at Subway in Veedersburg. Most recently she had been a caregiver for the elder. She was a member of the Hickman Heights Christian Church. She loved to go to antique shops and garage sales. She was a mushroom and ginseng hunter. She loved Mickey Mouse. Surviving are two children: Shawn Briles (Justine) and Shelley Carne (Larry) both of Williamsport. Two sisters, JoAnn Wilson and Paula Watson of Williamsport, IN. 2 grandchildren: Jacob  Honaker and Brandon Briles. Gayle was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Wilson and her parents. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday Dec 26, 2018 from 10 a.m. until service time at noon with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating.
