WEST, Bertha - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Bertha West of Ridge Farm, Illinois, age 85, died Wednesday evening, August 3, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. She was born at Grape Creek, Illinois, July 19, 1898, the daughter of Ely and Elva Nier Reffett. December 24, 1914, she married Frank West, who died July 21, 1983. Mrs. West was a member of Ridge Farm United Methodist Church.

  Survivors include a daughter, Alice Jones of Chrisman, Illinois; a son, Harvey of Kingman; a sister, Martha Phelps of Westville, Illinois; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Honnold and Son Funeral Home in Ridge Farm with Rev. Richard Chrisman officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Indianola, Illinois.- thanks to S
