ATTICA, Ind. – Wilford T. Wesley, 70, of Williamsport Route 3, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday (May 14, 1970) at the Williamsport Community Hospital, shortly after being admitted. He had been in ill health for one year. Born in Bethel Ridge, Ky., Oct. 20, 1899, he was the son of Millard and Meck D. Jones Wesley. He married Euretha Godby, Oct. 15, 1930, at Liberty, Ky. Mr. Wesley had resided in Vermilion County, Ill., west of Pence for a number of years, and had been a resident of the Hedrick Community since 1942. He had been a carpenter and farmer and was retired. He was a member of the Hedrick Church of God. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Richard of Attica Route 4 and Lawrence J. of Williamsport Route 3; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jaynes of Lafayette Route 3, Mrs. Brenda Wallace of Indianapolis, Mrs. Mary Bales of Scottsburg, Mrs. Martha Koekenberg of Crawfordsville Route 1 and Mrs. Leona Adams of Eubank, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Haggard of Bethel Ridge; 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Saturday at the De Sutter Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
