WILLIAMSPORT - Edward B. Wesley, age 63, of Lafayette Rt. 8, died Tuesday, May 28, at Home Hospital in Lafayette. He had been ill three weeks.
Mr. Wesley was born March 3, 1905, at Bethel Ridge, Ky., the son of Millard F. and Meek Jones Wesley. He was married in 1926 at Bethel Ridge to Matilda Moore, who survives. He had resided in Hedrick until 1960 when he moved into his present home. He had been employed as a custodian at Purdue University. He came to Warren County from Kentucky in 1943.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Bowers of Kramer; six sons, Winfield of Temperance, Mich., Millard of Wingate, Jasper of Willliamsport, Ray of Potomac, Ill., Roy of West Lebanon and Russell of Lafayette Rt. 8, one brother, Trenton of Hedrick; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Haggard of Bethel Ridge; and 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Archie.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Crowder & Siddons Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Rex Marrs
officiated and burial was in the West Lebanon Cemetery.
