Hillsboro - Mrs. Lola Bernice Wemken, 45 of Vallejo, Calif died suddenly Thursday at Vallejo. She was a native of the Williamsport area. She was a member of Women of the Moose 315 at Vallejo and Vallejo Bowling League. Born Oct 16, 1919, she was a daughter of John and Lillie Whyde Julian. She married Dean Wemken who survives. Also surviving are a son, Charles of Vallejo; four brothers, Dale Julian of Hartford City; Vern Julia of Danville, Ill; Mike Julian of New Mexico and John Julian of Williamsport; and four sisters: Mrs. Harold (Ruby) Crawford and Mrs. Pauline Smith of Williamsport; Mrs. Ora (Mabel) Crowder of Veedersburg and Mrs. Manford (Madeline) Abernathy of Kingman. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Nunle officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday. - kz
