HILLSBORO, Ind. (CNS) - Walter W. Weidman, 71, a native of Hillsboro, died unexpectedly yesterday (July 11, 1968) while working in the yard of his home at Henderson, N.C. Born April 16, 1897, in Hillsboro, he was the son of Grant and Mamie Fye Weidman He and his wife, Ina, were married April 26, 1923, at Washington, D.C. Mr. Weidman retired as treasurer of the Doubleday Hill Electric House in Washington, D.C. He resided there from 1918 to 1963 when he moved to Hendersonville. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High and attended Purdue University. He received a degree from Southwestern University at Washington, D.C. He was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Rose Marie Bellinger of Marshall, Tex., and two grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. HILLSBORO - Walter W. Weidman, age 71, a native of Hillsboro, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 11, while working in the yard of his home at Henderson, N. C.
Mr. Weidman was born April 16, 1897, in Hillsboro, the son of Grant and Mamie Fye Weidman. He and his wife Ina, were
married April 26, 1923 at Washington, D.C. He retired as treasurer of the Doubleday Hill Electric House in Washington, D. C.
He resided there from 1918 to 1963 when he moved to Hendersonville.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, are: one daughter, Mrs. Rose Marie Bellinger of Marshall, Tex:, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Crumely-Williams Funeral Home here. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery, Hillsboro. The Rev. James Whitaker, Hillsboro, officiated.
