William A. Weeks, 74 died at his home northwest of Wallace at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. He had been in failing health two years and seriously ill one week. Mr. Weeks was born Nov 12, 1879 at Paoli, Ind son of Joseph and Amy Horned Weeks. He was married twice, first to Lula Carter who died in 1925 and then married Lena Harper and she survives. He was a member of the Wallace Freedom Congregational Church and was occupied as a farmer except for one term when he was trustee of Jackson Township. Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mary Ann Kunkle of El Paso, Tex; a half sister, Lois Leonard of Bloomington, Ind; and two half brothers, Home Weeks of Joliet, Ill and Thomas Weeks of Paoli, Ind. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Freedom Church. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery with Crumley Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
