Weccele, Emile - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Emile William Weccele, 65, RR 2, Covington, died at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Illinois.

  Born April 20, 1918 in Westville, Illinois, he was the son of Fermin Paul and Mary Elizabeth Wilkinson Weccele. He attended Westville Grade School and Covington High School and had farmed most of his life in the Covington area. He was a former member of State Line United Methodist Church.

  Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Vivian E. Lovell of Phoenix, Arizona, and Mrs. Frank Ashmus of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a nephew, Albert Musson of Tilton, Illinois, with whom he made his home since his illness. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

  Services were conducted Saturday at Pape Memorial Home in Danville, Illinois, with Rev. L. L. Mullinax officiating. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. – thanks to S
