William P. Weaver, 80, was found dead at the home of his son, Clarence Weaver of near Jungle Park Tuesday (8 July 1947) morning. Mr. Weaver suffered a stroke of paralysis a few years ago and two months ago when
his condition became serious he was removed to the home of his son,. Dr. Brnson of Rockville, coroner of Parke County was called.
The deceased was born May 21, 1867 in Parke County the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Weaver. He had resided in Hillsboro for a number of years and operated the old Hillsboro Grist Mill until his health failed. His life preceded him in death and he is survived by his son. Funeral services were held at the Hillsboro Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon with Rev. Arthur Howell in charge. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery --- transcribed by kbz
