TANGIER — Funeral services for Lena E. Weaver, 84, who died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at the Sanders Nursing Home in Mecca, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Montezuma. Burial was in the Rush Creek Cemetery. She was born June 26, 1881, near Tangier to David and Emma Harvey Commons. She married Thomas Weaver April 19, 1900. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Rush Creek Friends Church. Survivors include two sons, Paul of Terre Haute and Willard of Tangier; a daughter, Mrs. Olive Smiley of Rockville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   --typed by Walt W
