John William Weaver, 91, a native of Fountain County died Saturday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lester Powell, 1357 Darlington Avenue. Born Dec 4, 1860 near Wallace, Mr. Weaver was the son of Arrison and Mary Jane Weaver. He was married three times, first to Loretta Morgan. His seconde marriage was to Lulu Payne. The third marriage was to Jennie McClamrock. Each of his wives preceded him in death. Mr. Weaver was a member of the Wallace Christian Church and the Waynetown Masonic Lodge. He had engaged in farming most of his life near Waynetown. Surviving are a son, Homer Waver, Waveland; three daughters, Mrs. Lester Powell; Mrs. Mabel Sowers of Marshall and Mrs. Myrtle Ingersoll; a brother, Horace Weaver of Wallace; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded him in death by three children. The body was taken to the Hunt & Son Funeral Home pending arrangements for the services. -- kbz
