Attica—Nina F. Waymire, 76, 112 Edgewood Drive, Attica, died at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 1989 in Country Care Nursing Center, Williamsport. She had been a patient there one year.

  She was born Oct. 20, 1912 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of James and Bessie M. Todd Swank. She had spent most of her life in the Crawfordsville area and moved to Attica in 1950. Her first marriage was in Crawfordsville, Aug. 10, 1923 to Louis Vavas, who preceded her in death in 1948. She was married June 28, 1969 in Attica to Merle Waymire, who preceded her in death Oct. 28, 1984.

  She attended school in Crawfordsville and formerly owned different restaurants in Attica for several years.

  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Crawfordsville and Women of the Moose in Attica.

  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Herschel (Barbara) Clark, Veedersburg; one brother, William Lloyd Swank, Terre Haute; two grandchildren, Mrs. Bob (Diane) Lyons, Veedersburg and Mrs. Tim (Debra) Taylor, Nevada, Mo., and eight great grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Maus Funeral Home Chapel, Attica, with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Masonic cemetery. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Thursday. -s
