COVINGTON, Ind. -- Services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Hegg Funeral Home for William Walter Watts, 77, of Covington who was found dead at his home about 9 a. m. Tuesday (Dec. 17, 1957). The Rev. Glenn Ray will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. A former construction worker, Mr. Watts was born Sept. 14, 1880, in Monticello, Ind., son of Harvey M. and Cordelia Watts. He was married to the former Edith Dunbar who preceded him in death 20 years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eva Basinger of Santa Cruz, Calif., and two brothers, Everett Watts of Covington and James Watts of Waynetown. --typed by Walt W
