Services for John H. Watts, 85 who passed away Wednesday evening at his home in Newtown were held Saturday at Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Mrs. Watts was born June 23, 1874 the son of Jeptha and Miranda Pratt Watts. He was married to Harriet Maggard Feb 26 (note no year given) and she passed away in 1928. He married Anna Schultz in 1929 and she survives. Also surviving are six children by his first marriage, Ova of Viper, Ky; Cash of Owensville, Ky; Ralph of Marcellus, Michigan; Estel of Westville, Ill and Mrs. Bertha Foster of Downey Calif; 31 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. – kbz
