James I. Watts, 58, a resident of Rt 1, Bloomingdale for 10 years formerly of rural Covington died at 4 a.m. Friday Oct 31 at his home. He was born April 7, 1928 in Covington son of Mack and Lora Fulton Watts. He was a security guard for Pinkerton and later for Semo Securities Servies working at Public Service Indiana. Surviving are two sisters, Helen Ohl and Dorothy Schechter, both of Covington; two brothers, Donald Watts, Covington and John Watts Grand Chain, Ill; several nieces and nephews, close friends, Howard, Martha, Shane and Misty Lindley all of Rt 1, Bloomingdale. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday in DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home, Cayuga with Rev. Glenn Ray Sr officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Covington. -- kbz
