Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Frank Watts, age 74, Covington Rt. 3, and a life resident of the Portland Arch community, died Sunday, Nov. 26, at 9:45 a. m. in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Danville, where he had been a patient since Nov. 15. Mr. Watts had been in ill health four years and seriously ill for five weeks. Born April 26, 1887 in Fountain County, he was a son of Franklin Pierce and Jennie Cronk Watts. Mr. Watts married Grace M. Frahm, April 21, 1938. He was a member of the Fountain Christian Church, Fulton-Banta American Legion Post 291, Disabled American Veterans, and Veterans of World War I of the U.S.A. Survivors include his wife, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral services were held this afternoon, Wednesday, at the Fountain Christian Church at Portland with the Rev. Thomas Linton officiating. Burial was in the Fountain Cemetery with the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in charge. Military rites were conducted.   --typed by Walt W

Frank Watts, 74, a life resident of the Portland Arch area, died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 1961 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Danville, where he had been a patient since Nov. 15.
He had been ill four years and seriously ill for five weeks.
He was born, April 26, 1887, in Fountain County, a son of Franklin P. and Jennie Cronk Watts.
He was married April 21, 1938, to Grace M. Frahm, who survives.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
He was a member of the Fountain Christian Church, Fulton Banta Post 291, American Legion of Covington, the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of World War I.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fountain Christian Church with the Rev. Thomas Linton officiating.  Burial was in Fountain Cemetery with military rites.  Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home of Covington were in charge.
