Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Watts, 65, died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Culver Hospital. Mrs. Watts had been in failing health for a lengthy period. She and her husband, James Watts, who survives, maintained a home at 412 E. Jefferson St. The couple came here nearly six years ago from Linden. Mr. Watts is retired from the Northern Indiana Public Service Co. Before their arrival in Montgomery County, they lived in northern Indiana communities. Mrs. Watts was born on May 4, 1903, in Veedersburg, the daughter of William H. and Maggie Toggle Potter. She was reared in Clinton, Ind., and attended schools there. Her marriage to Mr. Watts was solemnized on Jan. 26, 1926, in Paris, Ill. The deceased was a member of the Clinton Methodist Church. Surviving besides the husband are a half sister, Eleylor Frolander of Skagway, Alaska, and a niece, Mrs. Morris Berry of Crawfordsville. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Powers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Clinton. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday. --typed by Walt W
