COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home for Chester Earl Watts, 52, a resident of Detroit, Mich., for the past five years and formerly of Covington. He died Dec. 15, 1971, at the Detroit General Hospital where he had been a patient one day. The Rev. Edgar Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Upper Mound Cemetery. The body is being returned to the funeral home. Born March 8, 1919, in Covington, he was the son of James Mack and Lora Belle Fulton Watts. He was married to Neoma Bailey. Survivors include his wife of Huntingburg, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Voltz of Huntingburg, Mrs. Pauline Coebler of Jasper and Mrs. Mary Kay Burch of Huntingburg; two sons, Paul of Huntingburg and James in the Army in Asia; four brothers, Wilbur of Attica, Donald of Covington, James of Covington Route 1 and John of Paducah, Ky.; four sisters, Miss Wilma Watts of South Bend, Mrs. Ruth Gaylor of Veedersburg Route 1, Mrs. Dorothy Schechter of Covington and Mrs. Helen Ohl of Covington Route 1; and 18 grandchildren.
