CAYUGA – Robert E. Watson, 52, of Cayuga, deputy coroner of Vermillion County and operator of the Watson Funeral Home here, was killed late Thursday night in a two-car crash on U.S. 150 at Henning Road two miles west of Danville, Ill. Trooper Laimutis Nargelenas of the Illinois State Police post at Pesotum reported the accident occurred about 11:40 p.m. Watson was southbound on Henning Road. The trooper said Watson stopped for the intersection of 150, then pulled out into the path of a westbound auto driven by James R. Frazier, 37, Oakwood, Ill. Frazier and two children, Jeffrey Frazier, 8, and Tamie Frazier, 12 were injured and taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville for treatment. Funeral arrangements for Watson were incomplete today at the funeral home here. -– jlr
