William J. Warrick, age 59, of Attica, died at 4 a.m.Saturday, June 18, at the State Sanitarium, Rockville. He had been in ill health seven years and was hospitalized three weeks.
He was born July 24, 1906, at Mellott, the son of Harry and Nora Warrick. He married Edna Lauman at Attica on June 24, 1949 and she survives.. Mr, Warrick was a member of the Christian Church at Mellott and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, He formerly was employed at Harrison Steel Castings Co., Attica.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one stepson, Paul Pycke of Attica Rt. 1; three step-daughters, Mrs.Catherine Elmore of Attica, Mrs. Clara Minnick of Veedersburg, and Mrs. Mary Jane Owens of West Lebanon; one brother, Marion Warrick of Mellott; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. Ronny DeLong, minister of the Attica
Christian Church, officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
