Funeral services for Frederick Orville (Todd) Warrick, age 61, owner and operator of Warrick's Restaurant, south side of the square, Covington, who died at 10:20 a. m. Thursday, March 3, were held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Glenn Ray officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington.
Mr. Warrick, who died in Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient since Feb. 15, had been in ill health for the past eight years.
He was born April 3, 1904, near Stone Bluff in VanBuren Township, Fountain County, the son of Oren E. and Emma Kelly Warrick. He was married July 6, 1940, to Pauline Blacketer, who survives.
Mr. Warrick, who resided at 721 Fourth St., Covington, had owned and operated the restaurant for 20 years. Previously he had been employed by the Covington Light & Water Dept., as a lineman. He also had been engaged in well-drilling for several years.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one sister, Mrs. Louise Hegg of Covington; one brother, Homer of Brownsburg; a foster son, Billy High, student in Covington High School; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. --typed by Walt W
