COVINGTON, Ind. — Everett (Deek) Warrick, 68, of Covington, died at 4 p.m. Friday (Nov. 22, 1968) at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, where be had been a patient for one day. Born April 12, 1900, in Salem, Ind., he was the son of John and Ella Hougland Warrick. He was married Jan. 1, 1942, to Ruby Evans, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Myrl of South Bend, Ind. and John S. of Brownsburg, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Wretha Mallot of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl. A graduate of Covington High, he worked in the Covington area all of his life as an auto mechanic and car salesman. He was a member of the Fountain Masonic Lodge 60. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. James Downey officiating. Memorial Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.   --typed by Walt W

COVINGTON - Funeral- services for Everett (Deek) Warrick, age 68, of Covington, who died at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient one day, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here.  The Rev. James Downey, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington.
Mr. Warrick was born April 12, 1900 in Salem, Ind., the son of John U. T. and Ella Hougland Warrick.  He was married Jan. 1, 1942, to Ruby Evans, who survives.
He was a graduate of Covington High School.  He worked in the Covington area all of his life as an auto mechanic and car salesman.  He also had operated the Warrick Club and Cigar Store on Washington Street for several years.  He was a member of Fountain Lodge No. 60, F&AM, and he enjoyed fishing and fishing trips to the north.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are: two brothers, Myrl of South Bend and John S. of Brownsburg; one sister, Mrs. Wretha Mallott of Peoria, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Earl.
Memorial Masonic services were conducted at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Sunday.
