COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) – Earl Warrick, 72, of 1200 Third St., died at 5:45 p.m. yesterday (Aug. 17, 1968) at Carle Memorial Hospital in Urbana where he had been a patient since Aug. 1. He had been in ill health eight months. Born Nov. 22, 1895, in Troy Township in Fountain County, Ind., he was the son of John and Ella Hougland Warrick. He married Jessie Keller on Dec. 3, 1915. She survives. Also surviving are four children, Earl Thomas Warrick, Indianapolis; Wayne Warrick, Veedersburg Route 2; Keith Warrick, at home; and Mrs. Juanita Stewart, Covington. Va.; a granddaughter, Miss Diana Warrick, whom they raised; four other grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers Myrl Warrick, South Bend, Ind.; Everette (Deek) Warrick, Covington; John S. Warrick, Brownsburg, Ind.; and a sister, Mrs. Wretha Mallott, Peoria, Ill. He was a life resident of the Covington community except for a few years that he lived in Peoria and Indianapolis. He had been in the new and used car business most of his life. Private services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with the Rev. Glenn Ray officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. There will be no visitation. -– jlr

COVINGTON - Earl Warrick, age 72, of 1200 Third St., Covington died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Carle Memorial Hospital in Urbana, Ill. where be had been a patient since Aug, 1. He had been in ill health eight months.
Mr. Warrick was born Nov. 22, 1895, in Troy Township, Fountain County, the son of John and Ella Hougland Warrick. He was married Dec, 3, 1915, to Jessie Keller, who survives.
He was a life resident of the Covington community with the exception of a few years spent in Peoria, Ill., and Indianapolis. He had been in the new and used car business most of his life.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: four children Earl Thomas Warrick of Indianapolis, Wayne Warrick of Veedersburg Rt. 2, Keith Warrick, at home; and Mrs. Juanita Stewart of Covington, Va.; a granddaughter, Miss Diana Warrick, whom they reared; four other grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Myrel Warrick of South Bend, Everett (Deek) Warrick of Covington and John S. Warrick of Brownsburg; and one sister, Mrs. Wretha Mallott of Peoria, Ill.
Private funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here. The Rev. Glenn Ray officiated and burial was m Mt. Hope Cemetery.
