COVINGTON – Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Ware, age 62, of 4021 N. Adams, Indianapolis, a former Covington resident, who died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, were held at ii a.m. Saturday at the Flanner-Buchanan Fall Creek Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington. Mrs. Ware, who had been ill several years, had been a patient at the Memorial Hospital Indianapolis, for two days. She was born Feb. 21, 1902, east of Covington, the daughter of James and Evaline Carnegey Parrett. She was married in 1931 to Claude Ware in 1931 who survives. She graduated from Covington High School in 1920 and attended Indiana State Teachers College at Terre Haute. She taught east of Attica. She was a member of the Covington Baptist Church and had resided in Indianapolis since 1931. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are one step-daughter, Mrs. William Pratt of Lake Bluff, Ill.; one brother, Herbert Parrett of Covington ; and seven step-grandchildren. --– jlr
