COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Cleta L. Ware, 50, of Covington, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday (June 27, 1970) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. She had been a patient there one day and had been ill a year. Born March 31, 1920, on Kingman rural route, she was the daughter of Oscar and Virgie Moore Abernathy. She was married Dec. 11, 1938, to Tom Ware, who survives. Mrs. Ware was a life resident of the Covington community and was a member of the Coopers Chapel Church. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Karen Roark of Attica, Mrs. Kay Zello of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Carol Feliz of Pipestone, Minn.; her mother, Mrs. Virgie Coffing of Covington; her grandmother, Mrs. Janet Moore of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Ercel St. George of Indianapolis and Mrs. Minnie O'Riley of San Francisco, Calif.; a brother, Quentin Abernathy of Covington; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Edgar Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the Hegg Funeral Home. Friends will be received after noon today. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. --typed by Walt W
