WEST LEBANON, Ind. (CNS) — Clair Leo "Bud" Ware, 73, of West Lebanon, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 15, 1971) at Williamsport Community Hospital. He had been ill since 1952. Born near Stewart in Warren County July 28, 1898, he was the son of William B. and Blanche C. Cronkhite Ware. He married Ruth Picketts in Covington March 5, 1917, who survives. A resident of Attica for 25 years, he had resided in West Lebanon for the past six years. He had been a bartender at Crane's and Franis Carr Taverns and was a former Warren County farmer. He was a member of the Marshfield Presbyterian Church and was a charter member of the Eagles Lodge. Survivors also include six sons, William of Monticello, Ill., Joe of Newton, Ill., Harold Eugene of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Jack of Minot AFB, N. D. and Robert and Larry, both of Williamsport; two daughters, Miss Patricia Ware of West Lebanon and Mrs. Helen Hunt of Corydon, Ky.; a brother, Robert of Danville, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Farmer of West Lebanon and Mrs. Glendora Kinsell, of Terre Haute; 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica, with the Rev. William E. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. --typed by Walt W
