WA¥NETOWN – Hallie Ward, 79, mother of Mrs. Cozetta Lewellen of Rt. 1, Waynetown, died Tuesday at the Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. Mrs. Ward, a resident of Coatesville, had been in failing health for the last few years. She was a member of the Stilesville Christian Church. Born in Stilesville on April 18, 1889, she was the daughter of Charles and Eva Wallace. She was married on Oct. 4, 1916, to Ray Ward who survives. Survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Edna Simpson of Indianapolis; a son, Eugene, of Mooresville; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Weaver Funeral Home at Coatesville with Rev. John Servies officiating. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Stilesville Cemetery. – jlr
