WARD, Edna Utter

Mrs. Edna Ward, 69, 504 Walnut St, Danville, and former
Veedersburg residen, died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at Lake View Hospital,
where she had been a patient since September 3. Funeral services will
be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fishero Funeral Home, Veedersburg.. The
Rev. Edward S. Armstrong, Danville and Rev. Mr. Cunningham, LeRoy, will
officiate and burial will be in Galloway Cemetery near
Veedersburg. Mrs. Ward was born November 22, 1878 at Thorntown, Ind, daughter of Joseph
and Sarah O'Haver Utter. She was married in 1902 to Phillip Ward, who
preceded her in death. They resided several years in Veedersburg, where
they operated a cafe until his death. Surviving are a son, Lowell,
Chicago; three
brothers, Earl, Jack and Claude Utter, all of St. Louis; two
sisters, Mrs. N.F. Peford, St. Joseph Mo and Mrs. George Fossati,
