Covington Jan 22 – Charles (Bert) Ward, 81, well known grain dealer here many years died Sunday at his local home. Born in Troy Township, he was married Jan 1, 1890 to Mary Lizzie Briney. Surviving are the widow, a son, Forrest A. Ward; a sister, Mrs. Kate Jones, Frankfort and half-sister, Mrs. Gertie Gross, Veedersburg. Services at 2 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home.
