Veedersburg -- Mrs. Thersia Storm of this community was notified Saturday, Oct. 12, of the death of a sister, Mrs. Carrie Ward of Iowa Falls, Iowa. Death was the result of a fall in her home several months ago in which she suffered a fractured pelvis bone and internal injuries. Mrs. Ward, age 86, was one of 12 children born to the Rev. and Mrs. James M. Tuggle. He was pastor of the Veedersburg EUB Church for many years. Her husband, Edward, preceded her in death. Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Storm, are: three daughters and two sons, all living in Iowa. Mrs. Storm had just recently returned from her sister's home where she had spent three months assisting with her care. Funeral services and burial were in Iowa Falls. --typed by Walt W

Word of the death of Mrs. Carrie Ward, 86, of Iowa Falls, la., sister of Mrs. Thersia Storm of Veedersburg, recently was feceived here. She was one of twelve children born to the Rev. and Mrs. J. M. Tuggle. Rev. Tuggle, at one time, served a number of years as pastor of the Veedersburg E.U.B. Church.
Mrs. Ward's death was attributed to complications due to a fall in her home some months ago, causing internal injuries and a pelvic fracture. She was married to Edward Ward who preceded her in death. Funeral services and burial took place in Iowa Falls. Survivors include three daughters and two sons, all of Iowa Falls, and the sister here.
