Kingman - Mrs. Anna E. Wann, 93, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred (Twila) Cates Rt 2, Kingman where she made her home. She had been in ill health several years. She was a member of the old Lodi Baptist Church, had lived at West Liberty 11 years and Silver Island in Fountain County. Born Nov 18, 1891, at Silver Island she was a daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Hobart Samuels. She married Roland T. Wann who preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Cates of Kingman and Mrs. Lucille Scott of Circleville, Ohio; two sons, Dr. Russell Wann of Cambridge City and Dr. Raymond Wann of Wingate; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A son is deceased. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington with Rev. Alfred Dodds officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. - kbz

Mrs. Anna E. Wann, 93, died 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Twilla Cates, Rt. 2, Kingman. She had been ill for several years and bedfast for eight months. She was born Nov. 18, 1881, at Silver Island, Fountain County, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Hobart Samuels. She was married to Roland T. Wann who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Scott, Circleville, Ohio; Mrs. Fred (Twilla) Cates, Rt. 2, Kingman; two sons, Dr. Russell Wann, Cambridge City, Ind., and Dr. Raymond Wann, Wingate. Nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, her parents and her husband.
Funeral will be Saturday, May 17, 2 p.m. at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. – thanks to S
