Mrs. Maude L. Walters Of Covington Dies In Danville Nursing Home

Mrs. Maude Low Walters, age 78, of Covington, a former resident of Danville, Ill., died at 8
p. m. Thursday, July 29, at the Care Nursing Home in Danville. She had been a patient there since April 18 and she had been ill since September.
Mrs. Walters was born Dee. 5, 1886, in Morocco, Ind. She was first married to Roy. Coffman, who preceded her in death in 1932. She later married Jim Walters and he survives.
Surviving in addition to the husband, are: a son, Bill Coffman of Danville, Ill.; four stepsons, William Walters of Covington, Everett Walters of Veedersburg; Hayes Walters of Danville, Ill., and James Walters of Newman, Ill.,; one step-daughter, Mrs. Virginia McKee of Catlin, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Zella Merchant of Morocco; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, Louis Coffman.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Hegg Funeral Home in Covington. Burial was in Sunset Memorial
Park, north of Danville.
