George Edward Walker, 67, veteran of World War I died unexpectedly following a heart attack at 5:30 p.m. Monday at his home in Rob Roy. Mr. Walker was born in 186 in Danville, Ill and married Alice Stambaugh. She preceded him in death. Surviving are a son, William Walker of Milford, Ill and six daughters, Mrs. Mildred Morrison of Attica; Jean of Covington; Bonnie of Oblong, Ill; Mary of Milford, Ill; Betty June and Sheryl Kay at home. Funeral services were Thursday afternoon with burial in Riverside cemetery. – kbz
