Hillsboro, March 4 - Ernest Walker, 73, died suddenly at his farm home east of here at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, a victim of a heart attack. He had been in his usual good health and had visited Waynetown during the afternoon. En route home his car became bogged down on a country road near the Marvin Neal home. After working with it for some time Mr. Walker proceeded to his home to secure the help of a brother, Jack and John Murphy who was also at the Walker home. While sitting in a chair resting before starting back to the car, he toppled over and died. He was a native of Indiana and was born May 4, 1866, son of John and Joan Rider Walker. Mr. Walker was never married. He was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church. Surviving are two brothers, Jack Walker at home and CR Walker of Cincinati, Ohio. Funeral services for Mr. Walker will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Waynetown Baptist Church in charge of Rev. IC Overman. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceding the services and the casket will not be opened afterwards. Brial will be made in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
