WAGONER, Fred - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Fred Vernal Wagoner, 80 of Crawfordsville died at 4:20 a.m. Monday in Lane House Nursing Care Ceneter.  Mr. Wagoner had been a truck driver for Ready Mix Concrete, retiring in 1981.  He was a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Post 1005 and was a graduate of Wallace High School.  He was born May 31, 1916 at Hillsboro to Ransom and Dott Wagoner. He married Jenevie Downs Dec 24, 1936.  She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, James Vernal of Safety Harbor, Fla; Fred Leon of Wingate and Randal Joe of AUburn, Ind; a brother, Harold of Hillsboro; two sisters, Mildred Dove of Indianapolis and Mable Myers of Hillsboro; and one grandchild.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home of Waynetown with Marcos Gilmore officiating.  Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home - kbz
