Mrs. Alice WAGONER, living north of Wallace in Jackson Twp died Monday afternoon of last week. Death was caused by paralysis she having suffered a stroke July 4. The decedent was 60 and is survived by the husband one son, Ransom who resides near Veedersburg and one daughter, Mrs. Anne Washburn of Lake Crystal, MN. She also leaves 3 sisters, Mrs. Amanda Morgan of Waveland; Mrs. Phoebe Lawson of Fowler and Mrs. Emaline Starkey of Cates and two brothers Joseph Barker of Yeddo and john Barker of Covington. The funeral services were held Wed morning of last week at Baptist Church in Waynetown Rev. Cornelius Airhart officiating. Burial was made in the Masonic Cemetery in Waynetown.

Mrs. Eli Waggoner who was stricken with paralysis at her home south of Hillsboro about 10 days ago died Monday afternoon of last week at 1 o'clock. Mrs. Waggoner was about 60 and she and her husband had resided in that vicinity for several years having lived on the Collins farm until a few years ago when they purchased what is known as the Eddie Miller farm. She was Miss Alice Barker before her marriage, daughter of Bryant Barker of near Yeddo. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Anna Washburn who resided in the west and who has been at her mother's beside and one son, Ransom Waggoner of near Veedersburg and 11 grandchildren. She leaves several sisters and brothers. The funeral services were held in Waynetown Wednesday morning of last week in charge of Rev. Airhart of Crawfordsville; interment in Waynetown Cemetery.

Mrs. Alice A. WAGONER died at 1 o'clock this afternoon at her home north of this place. Her death resulted from a stroke paralysis suffered July 4. Born near Grange Corner, in Parke County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Anna E. Sowers and Bryant Barker. She was married to Eli Wagoner on October 24, 1884. The deceased spent her life in Parke, Fountain and Montgomery Counties. She is survived by her husband, one son Ransom of Veedersburg; one daughter Mrs. Anna Washburn of Lake Crystal, MN; eleven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Morgan, Waveland, Mrs. Phoebe Lawson, Fowler, IN and Mrs. Emaline Starkey of Cartes; and two brothers, Joseph Barker of Yeddo and John Barker of Covington. The funeral will be held from the Waynetown Baptist church on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Cornelius Airhart. Internment will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
