WAGNER, Thelma

Thelma E. Wagner of rural West Point, age 71, died Sunday morning, June 5, at her home. She was born in Dubois County, February 17, 1912, the daughter of Thomas and Geraldine Crabtree Benton. In 1930, she married Carel “Bill” Wagner, who survives. She had worked in the housekeeping department of some of the women’s dormitories at Purdue University.
  Also surviving are a daughter, Carol Griffin of Veedersburg; two sons, D. E. Wagner of Waynetown and C. A. Wagner of Cranston, Rhode Island; a sister, Dorothy C. Hollenga of Lafayette; and a brother, Junis B. Nolan of Cuzco.
  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Soller-Baker funeral Home in Lafayette. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery at Romney. – thanks to s
