VEEDERSBURG -- Roland Wade, 63, Veedersburg plumber, was found dead in his bed at 10 p.m. Monday by Night Officer Kelso Cartwright and Fountain County Coroner Charles Fishero after they had forced open the door to his plumbing shop in the business section. The two officials decided to force open the door after failing to see him about his place of business during the day. Coroner Fishero estimated he had been dead about 20 hours. Mr. Wade, a native of Veedersburg, had his living quarters in the rear of his shop. He was last seen Sunday evening at the Baldwin Drive-in where he had supper. Born Dec. 10, 1894, Mr. Wade was the son of Edward and Frances Stephens Wade. He was associated with his father in the plumbing business several years. Only known survivor is a cousin, Glee Wells of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p. m. Thursday at the Fishero Funeral Home with Hugh Miller reading the Christian Science services. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
