MELLOTT, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Maude Hatt Wade, 89, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday (Nov. 13, 1972) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. She had been a patient for one day. Born Oct. 3, 1883, in Mellott, she was the daughter of George W. and Mary Strader Hatt. Sept. 13, 1902, she married Truman Wade of Mellott, who died Aug. 5, 1960. She attended Mellott Schools and was a member of the United Church of Christ. She resided in Mellott until 1922 when she moved to Watseka, Ill. They returned to Mellott in 1941. In 1970, she moved to Danville, Ill., to reside with her daughter. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. (Marguerite) Fanyo of Watseka and Mrs. Martha L. Ferrell of Danville. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. W. C. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. --– jlr
